Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
